Derek was very good at instructing me on how to drive and do all my maneuvers ,he wanted me to succeed and pass my drivers test but not just that, he wanted me be safe when am driving on my own. I'm pleased to see that I passed my drivers test first time,with only one minor and all thanks to Derek!

I can not fault Derek Cook Driver Training. My son passed his driving test 1st time. We always found Derek to be professional, patient, accommodating and friendly. If you are looking for a driving instructor you won't go wrong with Derek.

Derek taught our son Aedan to drive and he had nothing but praise for his abilities and patience as an instructor! Derek always kept us, as parents, up to speed with his progress and made sure he was confident before putting him forward for his test which he passed, first time, with flying colours!

I have just passed my practical driving test on my first attempt after completing a 30 hour intensive course with Derek!
It is incredible that he was able to turn an absolute beginner into a safe and comfortable driver in only 30 hours of lessons. Derek’s patience, persistence and positive attitude made the experience so much more enjoyable and I cannot thank him enough for his hard work.
Derek’s professionalism and knowledge was reassuring and it was clear that he knew exactly what he was talking about.
I would definitely recommend him if you are wanting a fun instructor who will support you and help you reach your full potential!

Passed my test today and totally delighted. Derek was fantastic and incredibly patient with great knowledge. Puts what you need to be doing and looking out for in practical terms. I contacted Derek so I could get my licence as my son was due to be born post haste. So Derek worked with me on my timeline and at my convenience, easy to message back and forth also. Extremely accommodating and would recommend anybody to take lessons with him. Settled my nerves on the day. 5 stars all day long!! Can't thank you enough!!

Just completed the 15 hour 'Test Booster Pass Course' with Derek, after failing my first test with another driving instructor. Happy to say I passed second time round, and I know this would never have been possible without Derek's expert guidance and support. Derek is very relaxed and assured, he takes the time to explain things and will make you enjoy driving. He took me from average driver to assured and confident and for that I am truly grateful.
